Our Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility is defined as a business model and a core element of our everyday business practices. As a responsible business that brings together passionate people, we have been supporting numerous social initiatives and engaging in charitable activities for years. Within our local community, we actively implement these initiatives and engage in CSR practice through many programs aimed at providing both financial and non-material support.

Discover Our CSR Initiatives

Taking philanthropic responsibility involves voluntary actions as part of our corporate citizenship. As responsible corporate citizens, we have successfully integrated a strong CSR culture into our business operations. It is thanks to our collective CSR efforts that we managed to raise funds for our colleagues from Ukraine at the outbreak of the war, organized aid for people arriving from war-torn areas, and set up a fundraiser for a family member of one of our Team Managers from Ukraine.

Every year, across multiple locations, driven by our commitment to CSR, we get involved in the Szlachetna Paczka (Noble Box) initiative, regularly organize blood donation drives, and raise funds for animal shelters – and these are just a few examples of impactful initiatives taken by the CCIG Group community. This is how CSR strategies work in our daily reality to create a positive social impact.

Blood donation drives

No one needs convincing of how vital blood is. That is why practicing CSR means more than just compliance; it reflects our commitment to social or environmental well-being. For several years now, our attitude toward CSR has included partnering with the Regional Blood Donation Center across multiple cities in Poland. On many occasions, our locations have hosted a mobile blood donation bus (commonly known in Poland as a “krwiobus”), equipped with the necessary medical supplies and devices, which represents a vital form of CSR outreach. These mobile medical units are primarily used in areas lacking permanent donation facilities, which helps increase accessibility and encourages potential donors to get involved. These buses visit various communities, companies and institutions, encouraging employees, students, and the general public to actively participate in blood donation drives.

In addition to the mobile units, our corporate giving spirit led us to “open a local blood donation center” on more than one occasion – quite literally, by opening up our office spaces. By integrating social needs with our workplace culture, we allowed many CCIG employees to join our social responsibility programs. The medical staff has always been incredibly supportive, gladly providing essential information on the benefits of donating blood, answering questions and addressing any concerns from potential donors, while carefully overseeing the course of every drive.

We know how critical blood supplies are. That is why we realize that raising public awareness is an effective way to enhance CSR. In the broader history of CSR, our main goals focus on the fact that saving lives and health is a vital aspect of taking responsibility as true corporate citizens.

Stand with Ukraine

From the very beginning, we have been following the ongoing events in Ukraine with deep sadness. Just across our borders, a tragedy continues to unfold, affecting people close to us – our families, neighbors, and colleagues. To express our solidarity, CCIG Group decided that our corporate strategy must reflect our ethical responsibility. We also started a fundraiser, which allocated a portion of our net profits to CSR activities, raising a total of over 38,000 PLN, all of which was then distributed to our Ukrainian team members.

Our CSR program immediately adapted to the crisis. In the first months following the outbreak of the war, we organized support for all our colleagues who, along with their families, decided to come to Poland. Our CSR activities included organizing drives for food, essential clothing, toiletries, and other necessities. Additionally, we created a comprehensive information guide for Ukrainian citizens arriving in Poland, and arranged housing and employment for our colleagues and their families. Ensuring their safety was our absolute CSR priority.

Neither the fundraising nor the non-material aid would have been possible without people with big hearts. This proves how an authentic commitment to social causes and corporate conscience can bring about real social good.

Regular charitable initiatives

We regularly support charitable campaigns through a strategic CSR framework designed to support those who are injured, ill, or in need of assistance.

We provide aid through online campaigns, as well as donation drives for items and financial support across our locations. Among our efforts, we managed to raise funds to help those affected by the war in Ukraine, and provided financial assistance to family members of our colleagues. Through these responsibility practices, we ensure that our CSR benefits the community directly, proving that CSR can enhance the lives of individuals in crisis.

Szlachetna Paczka (Christmas Charity)

Szlachetna Paczka is a charitable initiative in Poland aimed at helping families and individuals facing difficult life circumstances, especially during the Christmas season. The project was initiated in 2001 by Polish journalist Magdalena Piekarska and modern definitions of CSR perfectly align with its core mission.

The idea behind Szlachetna Paczka is to create a platform that connects private individuals and companies who want to help with families in need of support, which aligns perfectly with our CSR principles and which fits seamlessly into how a company can integrate social and environmental concerns within the modern social contract. The organizers ensure the authenticity and credibility of the entire campaign so that aid always reaches those who truly need it. The community, donors, and volunteers work together to prepare the so-called “noble boxes” for specific families. These packages contain essential items and supplies, such as food, clothing, toiletries, toys for children, and household appliances. As CCIG Group, we integrate CSR into our yearly calendar by collecting necessary items and preparing packages across multiple locations.

Szlachetna Paczka aims not only to provide material assistance to those in need, but it is also an expression of care and empathy towards others. This represents how modern enterprises address environmental concerns in their business operations while staying sensitive to human needs. The joy of making Christmas happier for others is one of the most noble actions a responsible corporate entity can take.

Support for animal shelters

Supporting animal shelters is another vital initiative where our social and environmental responsibility comes to light. While we maintain a focus on corporate governance and economic responsibility to keep our business running, we believe that a sustainable business must also respect its environmental responsibility.

Animal shelters play a crucial role in rescuing, nurturing, and finding homes for stray and abandoned animals. Therefore, our CSR impact extends to these organizations to secure our social license to operate as a caring brand. At CCIG, we regularly organize donation drives across various cities to support our furry friends in need, fulfilling the true nature of CSR by looking after both social and environmental well-being.
